About AppBanana

AppBanana recruits real people to test Android apps. Developers come to us because Google Play requires a new developer account to run a closed test with at least 12 testers over 14 continuous days before it can apply for production access — and finding a dozen people willing to install a pre-release app and actually use it is genuinely hard for a solo developer or a small studio.

1. Who We Are

2. What We Actually Do

• We recruit and compensate real testers with verified Google accounts, who opt in to your closed testing track.
• Each tester installs your app on their own physical Android device. We do not use emulators, virtual devices or automation.
• Testers use your app across the testing window and report what they find — bugs, crashes, confusing flows, and what worked.
• At the end, you receive a test report: who tested, on what devices and OS versions, how often they opened the app, and the feedback they gave.

3. What We Do Not Do

We are explicit about this because the distinction matters:

• We do not simulate activity. Every session comes from a real person using a real device. There are no scripts, bots or generated events.
• We do not guarantee Google's decision. Production access is granted or declined by Google LLC alone. No service can promise that outcome, and we do not.
• We do not write your answers to Google. Your production access application is your own attestation. We give you the documented record of your test so you can describe it accurately, in your own words.
• We do not test apps that break Google Play policy. See our Acceptable Use Policy.

4. How Our Testers Are Treated

Testers are compensated for their time. They choose which apps to test, install on their own devices, and are asked for honest feedback — including negative feedback. We never share your personal developer details with them; they receive only your app link, package name and testing instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy.
