These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your download, installation, access, and use of the AppBanana Mobile Application (for Android devices). By accessing or using the AppBanana Mobile App, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Scope & Description of Free Mobile App Services

The AppBanana Mobile App is developed and operated by AppBanana (“we”, “our”, or “us”) as a free set of utility tools designed exclusively for Android application developers:

• Policy Checker:An interactive diagnostic tool where developers answer targeted questions regarding their app's features, permissions, and data collection. The tool analyzes responses against Google Play Developer Program Policies to identify potential policy risks and recommends specific remedies.
• Test Your Answers: An interactive assistant designed to help developers formulate and refine their written answers when submitting the Google Play Console production access application (required after completing 14 days of closed testing with 12+ testers).
• Policy Guide: An educational directory listing possible Google Play policy violations, categorized by risk level alongside likely enforcement outcomes (such as App Rejection, Content Warning, App Removal, Account Suspension, or Developer Account Termination).
• Dev Glossary: An Android developer reference dictionary defining common development jargons and technical terminology (e.g., AAB, APK, Target SDK Level, Keystore Fingerprints, ProGuard/R8, Closed Testing Track, Production Access, Opt-in Link, Google Play Console APIs, etc.).

2. No In-App Transactions or Orders

100% Free Utility App: The AppBanana Mobile App does not sell products, process financial transactions, accept credit/debit card details, or take any orders in the app. Access to all mobile utility tools (Policy Checker, Test Your Answers, Policy Guide, and Dev Glossary) is completely free of charge.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties & No Guarantee of Google Play Approval

Please read this section carefully before relying on any guidance provided by the AppBanana Mobile App:

• Informational & Educational Purpose: All diagnostic evaluations, violation forecasts, answer recommendations, and policy guides provided within the app are for informational and educational guidance purposes only.
• No Approval Guarantee: While our tools are designed to help developers comply with Google Play Developer Program Policies, AppBanana does not guarantee that Google LLC will approve your application for production access, pass your app review, or refrain from policy enforcement actions.
• Sole Discretion of Google LLC: All decisions regarding app approval, app rejection, app removal, closed testing qualification, or developer account suspension belong exclusively to Google LLC.
• Independent Service: AppBanana is an independent entity and is NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by Google LLC or Google Play.

4. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

When using the AppBanana Mobile App, you agree to comply with all applicable local and international laws. Specifically, you agree that you will NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or diagnostic algorithms of the mobile application.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract content from the Dev Glossary, Policy Guide, or Policy Checker tools.
• Use the App to generate intentionally deceptive or fraudulent responses intended to violate Google Play Developer Program Policies.
• Attempt to compromise the security, integrity, or network endpoints of the mobile application.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, titles, and interests in and to the AppBanana Mobile App—including software code, user interface designs, diagnostic algorithms, policy rule database, answer helper prompts, policy guide content, and developer glossary definitions—are the exclusive intellectual property of AppBanana.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Mobile App on your personal or business Android devices for your application development work.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall AppBanana, its founders, employees, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:

• Your use of or inability to use the AppBanana Mobile App or any of its tools.
• Any rejection, suspension, app removal, or policy warning issued by Google Play Console or third-party app stores against your developer account or application.
• Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the Dev Glossary, Policy Guide, or diagnostic recommendations.

The Mobile App is provided strictly on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

7. Modifications to the App & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the AppBanana Mobile App (including updates to the Policy Guide or Dev Glossary as Google Play policies change) at any time without prior notice.

We may also update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Mobile App following any posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes or legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with the Mobile App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
